Seafoam is safe for synthetic oils as well. I bought more oil , another filter and a can of Sea Foam. I poured Sea Foam in the crankcase, drove it hard for about 1miles, drained the oil and it was VERY black. I put new oil in , drove another 1miles let it sit overnight and in the morning the oil was full and not much darker than new oil.

Never used seafoam but have used Marvel Mys oil (years ago). That sai water mist in the intake will do just as good on that end but seafoam does wonders in a crank case. I am wondering if I can use seafoam with this oil. It helps clean your fuel and oil system off deposits.

It does quite well in loosening carbon build up on the oil side AND the fuel side of the rings. The key is to not add too much - just a third of the bottle should do, drive it for a while like the other poster said. Had a Jasper remaned installed. That was around 45k on the odometer. AC Compressor bushings around the same time.
BTW dont add it to your fuel tank. There guys are all way off base. Oil companies are selling is the cheapest stuff they can get by with and calling it gasoline.
Re dirty engine - During a previous post it was suggested to run engine with a little MMO and change the oil ,maybe more than once - seemed like a good idea to me.
