It is a mid to high pitch squeak that I hear almost all the time. Parked or driving, traveling fast or slow, turning the wheel fast or slow. I had problems with my steering wheel. The first was it clunking, the second is it squeaks when I turn the wheel.


It is a very short and quick squeak, but I think it is something I can live with (Beats asking service dept to tear down the entire steering column I guess). It also makes noise when going over bumps. Im not sure what it could be, I havent had a chance to check it out. This is my daily driver so I dont want to lose control of the car or anything crazy if this is a serious problem. Wow my steering wheel doesn’t sound anything like that but it squeaks and doesn’t seem normal.


I pretty much have had the same issues with the SC. They had my car for a week and replaced the steering module. If your car squeaks when turning , it’s likely a problem with the power steering system.
