I was looking into rust converter, but the ones I found had an upper temperature limit of 2degrees, I thought this might be cutting it a little close for an oil pan that close to the exhaust. So far no actual holes through the pan though. I have scraped some of the rust off and coated it with oil , but when I looked a year later, more spots of bubbled up and rusted.
